Historical Development : St. Anne’s Convent is located in Pagar, Monnunagar, Gazipur. The SMRA Sisters were invited by the then parish priest Rev. Fr. Tapon D’ Rozario in 2001 to take responsibility of PagarSurjodoy Catholic Junior High School. The Sisters arrived on April 19, 2001. Initially they lived in a rented house. Later in 2011 the Sisters started to live in their own house.

Apostolate :Four Sisters are living in the convent. The main apostolate of the Sisters is teaching. They are in two schools:

1. PagarSurjodoy Junior School: Owned by the Archdiocese of Dhaka and run by SMRA Sisters.
2. Play to Nursery School: It is inside the convent and SMRA Sisters are owner of the land and all properties.
3. Pastoral Service:Sisters are involved in the parish pastoral work. They prepare altar and help in liturgical service, takes care of YCS, Shishu Mongol, teach catechism to the children and prepare for the Sacraments. They visit families, look after the sick, and pray with them.
